SPECIAL ECO-SENSE TOUR for people registered for one or more days at the Natural building Colloquium at O.U.R EcoVillage from May 19th-22nd.  Check out link for details on the Colloquium.  Ann and Gord will be at OUR EcoVillage on Saturday May 21st and Gord is giving a presentation in the afternoon.

Shaw TV in Victoria, BC will be running a short piece on the Eco-Sense home.
Starting Thursday April 21st at 6pm and running all earth day weekend.

Hello,  It’s been almost 8 months since our last public tour, so due to many requests, we are going to have a public tour next Sunday April 3rd at 10 am.

Tour: Sunday April 3rd 10am – 12:30pm
Where: 3295 Compton Road in the Highlands  see link for map and directions
Parking: Please park at the bottom of the hill (there are a few spots up top for those with mobility challenges)
Cost: $20

There has been immense interest in our home since the announcement of the results of our petal certification for the Living Building Challenge in Oct 2010.   Jason McLennon (CEO of the Cascadia Green Building Council) and the author of the Living Building Challenge has referred to our home as “The World’s Greenest Modern House”.   The much coveted Living Building Challenge award is hanging on our living room wall.  Come and check it out.
